The aim of this site is to provide as much information on Ford's latest hot hatch as possible.

This site will be updated as more information becomes available through Ford.
What we know so far, the car will use a re-badged Volvo engine and gearbox.
The 2.5 litre 5cylinder engine is mated to the Volvo M66 6 speed gearbox and is reported to produce 222bhp.
The first 150 cars off the production line will be made in the Electric Orange of the show car and will be in the dealer showrooms in December.
These cars will be of a fixed specification (not yet confirmed what spec yet) and at a predicted price of approx £18k.
After that the normal production run will commence, the cars then being available in Diamond White, Colorado Red, Moondust Silver, Sea Grey, Panther Black, Electric Orange and Performance Blue.
The Recaro interiors are expected to be available in a choice of plain Dark grey/Black cloth seats, the same dark cloth seats but with either red or blue inserts on the seats and a full black leather option.
Latest news is that the car will be available in 3 spec levels with an options list available.
The trims will be ST at £17495 for the 3dr and £18095 for the 5dr, ST-2 at £18495 for the 3dr and £19095 for the 5dr and ST-3 at £19495 for the 3dr and £20095 for the 5dr.
The ST2 adds a Sony Mp3 CD, Xenon headlights, ESP and the quickclear windscreen to the base spec.
ST3 adds the Full leather recaros with 10 way electric adjustment and a Sony 6 disc CD to the ST2 spec.
Orders will start to be taken from the beginning of October with the first cars being available to view at the dealerships in December, the official launch is expected to be the weekend of the 14/15th of January, with the first deliveries to customers at the same time.
