    Hello,

So I was wondering what a good CAI setup would be for my ST. I am looking at the Ford racing one and the FSWerks one.

What makes one better than the other?

Sorry for the stupid question but I am honestly not sure

I prefer the FSWerks one because it replaces the full tube turbo to filter and call me a ricer if you wish, but looks much better.

Similar to the SVTF, the stock airbox with a good filter will flow more than enough air to keep an otherwise stock engine happy. The best intake will be the one you like the looks of the best provided it doesn't just stick an open filter in the engine bay open to hot air.

Doesn't the FSWerks have the filter open to the engine bay?

The filter is open to the engine bay but has a sealed heat shield. I have the fswerks, I'd like to add the ford racing snorkle to that.

Yep, the heatshield seals against the hood.

Is there a benefit to one FSWerks kit over another?

When you compare all of our kits you can see there are many differences:

Price, filter choice, color preference, appearance, etc...

These things can be considered benefits depending on your priorities.

We only make them in aluminum, not steel. You can call here and talk to Raffi or Vik about getting one bare. 714 693-2555.

So now that I am done with the holiday spending I think it is time to get my car a present. I am thinking one of the OEM box kits Crome FSWerks, my question is which filter is best, and how is the maintenance on them?

I have got the green filter version, and I was wondering if I need to do anything to the filter before installing it?
