Focus ST gets vintage Gulf Racing livery in performancemakeover

    • Ford Focus ST sports vintage Gulf Racing scheme with Axalta paint and custom flares by DTM Autobody
    • Nineteen-inch Forgestar wheels wrapped in Falken tires
    • High-performance modifications to the chassis like Baer brakes and a KW suspension kit

The rich history of Gulf Racing from the 1960s and 1970s inspired Universal Technical Institute to create a vintage look for a modern rally-based 2014 Ford Focus ST. The team joined forces with Neil Tjin of Tjin Edition to design the exterior look using the recognizable blue and orange livery of Gulf Racing. The Gulf Racing Focus also has custom dual side exhausts exiting from an intercooler kit by Vortech Superchargers and a high-flow catalytic converter from Motiv Concepts that gives the driver more ponies. The 19-inch deep concave Forgestar wheels wrapped in Falken tires also help make this Gulf Racing Focus a track star for the street.
